Frequently asked questions

Who in our organisation should attend your sessions?
It depends on the programme. Leadership team briefings are for executives and senior managers, Lunch & Learn sessions are for ambitious working mums/parents across teams, and workshops or training programmes can include broader cross-functional teams depending on your goals.

Can the content be tailored to our sector or organisation?
Absolutely. All sessions, workshops, and keynotes are customised using insights from my proprietary research and aligned with your organisational context, culture and objectives.

Is it only for mums or can we involve dads too?

While my specialism is working mums, many of the insights and frameworks are equally relevant for dads. If you’d like to expand the remit to include all parents, that’s absolutely possible — the principles of leadership, career growth, and navigating work-life integration apply across the board.

How long do workshops or training programmes typically take?
Workshops are usually 4 or 6 hours. Tailored training programmes usually run over 4–6 weeks, with multiple 90-minute sessions plus self-paced exercises in between to embed learning.

Can you provide actionable outcomes for our business, not just insights?
Yes. Every programme is designed to generate practical strategies, tools and recommendations that your leaders and teams can implement immediately to retain, advance and support ambitious working mums.

Do you offer support beyond the session itself?
For tailored programmes and workshops, yes — I provide supporting exercises, discussion prompts, and materials to help embed the learning, and can also offer follow-up sessions if required.

What are your invoicing terms?

Depending on the duration and nature of the engagement, most organisational programs are paid 50% upfront and 50% paid upon completion.​

​

What's your refund policy?

For organisational programs, the initial 50% deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your place and my time. If you need to cancel after the program has started, the balance of the invoice will not be charged provided cancellation occurs before the halfway point of the program.

Do you guarantee results? 

While I do guarantee exceptional service, it's not possible to guarantee specific outcomes. By submitting your payment, you acknowledge that any actions or decisions you or your employees take during or after the program are your responsibility, and you agree to indemnify Kat Francis for any impact on yourself or your business.​​
